This is the whole of it, in plain English. Mitchell B Consulting is one person: me, Mitchell Bronshtein. I collect what you send me so I can answer you, and nothing more. I do not sell your information, and I do not run ads that follow you around.
Who is responsible
Mitchell B Consulting, run by Mitchell Bronshtein, 101 S Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435, United States. For anything about your information, write to mitch.bronshtein@gmail.com. I read it myself.
What I collect, and why
When you send a message: your name, your email address and your message. If you fill them in, also your phone number, company, website, industry, the service you are asking about, the tools you use, your goal, your timeline and your budget range. I use these to reply and to keep a record of the inquiry.
When you book a call: your name, your email address, what you want to talk about and the time you picked. This creates an event on my Google Calendar and sends you an invitation.
When you subscribe to Wednesday Office Hours: your name and email address, what you want to learn, and your company, role and topics if you add them. I use these to send you the link to the class and a note about each session. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works with one click.
With a message or a subscription, the site also records the campaign tags on the link you arrived by and the page that sent you, so I know which post or page brought you. The tags are remembered from page to page only if you accepted analytics cookies.
When you visit, and only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics counts the pages you open, roughly where you are, what kind of device you use and where you came from. I see totals, not names.
Every visit: the company that hosts this site records the address your request came from, as every web server does. The site also keeps a short count of form submissions per address for an hour, in memory only, to stop abuse.
What I do not do
I do not sell, rent or trade your information.
I do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
I do not buy lists or add you to a newsletter because you sent a message.
I do not make decisions about you by computer alone.
Who else handles it
I use two companies to run this site. They handle your information only to provide these services to me.
Replit: hosts the site and the database where messages and subscriptions are stored.
Google: Gmail sends and receives the emails, Google Calendar and Google Meet hold the calls and the class, Google Analytics counts visits if you allow it, and Google Fonts supplies the lettering on these pages.
A note on fonts
The lettering on this site is loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver it, Google sees the address your browser connects from. No cookie is set for this.
How long I keep it
Messages, bookings and subscriptions stay in my records until you ask me to delete them. If you unsubscribe from Office Hours, I keep your address on the unsubscribed list so that you are not emailed again by mistake, unless you ask me to remove it completely.
Your choices
Ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to mitch.bronshtein@gmail.com and I will do it.
Unsubscribe from the class emails with the link at the bottom of any of them.
Change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Where you live may give you more rights over your information, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California. I will honor a request wherever you live.
Where it is kept
I work in the United States, and the services above store information in the United States. If you write from another country, your information comes here.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and only I have access to the records. No system is perfectly secure. If I ever learn that your information was exposed, I will tell you.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is a big one, I will say so on this page.
